After a two year run in Vancouver, Tales of the Cocktail continues its tour to Buenos Aires. “More and more bartenders from South America have been making the journey to Tales in New Orleans. On a recent scouting trip to Argentina, AnnTuennerman was impressed with the quality of the capital city’s drinks. Each bar had a unique personality. With a history of Italian immigration, Argentina has always had a taste for amaros, which now show up in the country’s cocktails. And without the abundance of ingredients that we enjoy in the U.S., many Argentine bartenders must create from scratch their own bitters and liqueurs.” reports Times-Picayune.
