Jeffrey Morgenthaler’s “The Bar Book”

Bar Manager of Clyde Common and Pepe Le Moko (Portland) Jeffrey Morgenthaler paid a visit to the Cocktail Kingdom’s Offices in NYC for the book signing of his first book called “The Bar Book”. Instead of focusing on recipes this book is about the different techniques utilized behind the bar,┬áranging from juicing, garnishing, carbonating, stirring, and shaking to choosing the correct ice for proper chilling and dilution of a drink.┬áBar technique along the side of the recipe used for a cocktail and quality of ingredients has always been at the forefront of his training program at the bars he oversees.
